Christmas Pantomime Trip!
Last Sunday we had a fantastic day going to see Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs at Nottingham Arts Theatre! We started the day on the coach to make our way to the theatre. There was lots of singalongs to Christmas songs going on which kept spirits high as we waited to get our tickets.
Once inside, we took over the whole right-hand side of the theatre and had some great views of the stage. The pantomime was filled with lots of jokes and we had fun getting involved with the audience participation. Throughout the show we were spoiled with some great tunes such as Walking on Sunshine, I'm Still Standing, Marry You and All I Want For Christmas Is You. We think some of you gave the performers a run for their money with your singing and dancing - we're looking at you Noah! We quickly ate our lunch during the interval before it was time for the second half which concluded the gripping story.
After the show we got a chance to meet the lead cast members outside the theatre. Some of you even got your photo taken with them and took the opportunity to ask questions. We then boarded the coach again to head back to campus for some afternoon activities.
The afternoon consisted of various different Christmas crafts such as gingerbread decorating, making our own baubles, Christmas colouring, and more. Of course we also played lots of fun music throughout the afternoon - Red Group even had their own DJs Ciaran and Sophie!
We had so much fun seeing new and old faces again and we can't wait for more fun next year. We hope you all have a lovely winter break and we wish you all the best for the New Year when we'll see you again!
